    Israeli war hero to speak on conflict in Middle East

    Chabad of Scottsdale is offering a special lecture event, featuring Israeli war hero and expert on the current situation in Israel, Avigdor Kahalani

    The lecture, titled "From the Yom Kippur War to Today: Understanding the events of October 7th and their far-reaching impact,", will take place on May 20th at 7 p.m. at Chabad of Scottsdale, 10215 N. Scottsdale Road, according to a press release.

    Kahalani is widely acclaimed for his leadership during the Yom Kippur War of 1973, where he played a role in defending Israel against enemy forces in the Golan Heights.

    His bravery and strategic acumen earned him national recognition, admiration and a number of honorary medals. Since then, Kahalani has dedicated himself to sharing his experiences and insights, becoming a respected commentator on Israeli military affairs and the broader geopolitical landscape of the Middle East.

    In this lecture, Kahalani will draw upon his experiences as a war hero and his expertise as a commentator on contemporary Israeli affairs, to provide perspectives on the challenges facing Israel today. From security concerns to regional dynamics, Kahalani's analysis offers depth and clarity, providing audiences with a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the complex realities shaping Israel's present and future.
