The three-day international modern and contemporary art fair will include collaborations with institutions, galleries, artists, prominent collectors and off-site VIP events.

Currently residing in the arts hub of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Rose grew up in Tempe and spent the majority of his life in the Phoenix area.

After attending the University of Minnesota where he studied literature and philosophy, Rose pursued a master’s degree in the Art and Poetry of William Blake from the University College of North Wales, Bangor.

Much of Rose’s career has been spent with International Artist Publishing, serving as Editor for American Art Collector, Western Art Collector, American Fine Art and Native American Art magazines.

He has delivered lectures and facilitated panel discussions at esteemed art fairs, including the Hamptons Art Fair, The San Francisco Fine Art Fair, the LA Art Show, and The Boston International Fine Art Show. He’s presented at distinguished museums, The Autry Museum, The Scottsdale Museum of the West, The Booth Museum, The Harwood Museum, The Briscoe Museum, and the Eiteljorg Museum. His abilities have been sought after by organizations such as the Oil Painters of America, the Cowboy Artists of America, the American Impressionist Society, The International Guild of Realism, Cowgirl Up, the Artists for Conservation, and the Society of Animal Artists.

After stepping away from International Artist Publishing, Rose took on the role of senior vice president at the Santa Fe Art Auction as a fine art specialist. The auction is owned by Gerald Peters, a legendary art dealer in New York City and Santa Fe.

Most recently in July 2023, Rose fulfilled one of his dreams by launching Rose Creative, a full-service marketing, publicity, and creative agency that places focus on the art market across the Southwest. Notable clients of Rose Creative are the Santa Fe Indian Market, The Santa Fe Botanical Gardens, the Scottsdale Art Auction, The Coors Western Art Show, Mark Maggiori and the Far West Show.

“I am thrilled and honored to join this distinguished team and we embark on this three day massive arts fair which will bring art galleries around the country, auction houses, internationally renowned artists, collectors and a fantastic network of museums and cultural institutions to Scottsdale in late March next year,” said Joshua Rose.

He added this international art fair will come at an ideal time during Scottsdale’s prime tourist season.

Additional event details, including gallery applications, can be found at www.ScottsdaleArtWeek.Com.

Tickets for Scottsdale Art Week will go on sale to the public in September with additional partnerships and programs announced leading up to the fair.
