Whether you plan on traveling to a white sand beach or staying in the comfort of your backyard, summer vacation is the perfect time to catch up on those missed naps. It doesn’t matter where you are, as long as there’s a comfy place to sleep in the sun. Our animals seem to feel the same way.

This little goat’s nap time was not only a source of relaxation for him but also a hilarious moment for his mom. Check out this video from June 14 to witness his unique and amusing way of getting some shut-eye.

Sweet Finny! This adorable goat makes me wish I had the space to have one as a pet. Much like our dogs and cats, this sweet soul knows where to find the comfiest places to snooze. Not only has he decided to take his siesta in the lounge chair, but he’s also using the pillow to rest his sleepy head. If that wasn’t cute enough, Mom brings the camera closer and shows us his precious teeth peeking out from his lips. Oh goodness! Those ‘teefs’ are sure to melt your heart! It’s easy to see the similarities between him and many of our dogs.

A Goat's Life at the Animal Sanctuary

Finny lives his best life in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his mom, Ashley, at the Fluffy Top animal sanctuary (@ hen_stefani ). He has many rescue chickens , llamas, and other goats to keep him company here. The best part about the sanctuary is that you can sign up to volunteer if you live in the area or take a tour as a visitor, where you can take photos of these lovely animals. Although he may not have done it before, now that Finn has learned about the comfort of this lounge chair and pillow, you may catch him relaxing in this position again. If not, there’s no doubt he’ll be doing something equally charming.

This goat’s dog-like behavior entertained people. Viewer @traceylovestravel confirmed, “I have 2 Nubian and Saanen goats that I bottle-raised, and they are big, goofy puppies—really big, goofy puppies!” They sure seem to be. One person remarked, “It always fascinates me how all animals, if given a chance, know to put their heads on pillows.” Comfort is universal. Another person shared, “Nothing like seeing an animal cozy and enjoying life!” Every creature deserves to experience happiness.

Although running a sanctuary is no easy job, seeing animals as happy as Finn must make it all worthwhile. At least for me, I know it would be all I needed to get out of bed each day.
