5,349 square-foot Scottsdale Ranch listed for $3.495M by Coldwell Banker Realty

Coldwell Banker Realty has listed a 5,349 square-foot Scottsdale Ranch estate for quite a hefty price.

According to a press release, the “Contemporary Mediterranean Ranch estate” that features mountain views on 8579 E. Nightingale Star Drive in Scottsdale is being listed for $3,495,000.

The press release says the residence has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a four-car garage. Additional amenities include a 1,171 square-foot detached guesthouse with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and rooftop deck.

Outside, the property includes a heated saltwater pool, nine-person spa, outdoor fireplace and an outdoor kitchen.

There has been a stunning increase in prices over the past 5 years in Far North Scottsdale. Whereas this was considered the ‘outer reaches’ it is now valued for that which it provides, e.g. slightly cooler temperatures, often excellent views, and, most important space. Whilst, so much of Scottsdale has been turned into ‘Heat Islands,’ dwellings on zero lot lines, etc. we are not that…yet. Recently, we have noted Townhomes built as tight as can be possible, this is still rare, and for the sake of Climate, water availability, it should remain so. The new mantra, Accessory Units built on existing property, is one to watch, not necessarily a negative, it is to be considered that a number of existing homes already have Casitas in place.
