Mexican restaurant Elvira's to open Scottsdale location in November

Elvira’s Restaurant, which has served award-winning Mexican food to denizens of Tubac for years, is opening a new location in Scottsdale in late November.

According to a press release, the location will be called Elvira’s DC Ranch and is a partnership between celebrity Chef Rubén Monroy and Sommelier and restaurant developer Tom Kaufman.

A two-story 3,600 square-foot space will be transformed into a fine-dining Mexican cocina. The menu will feature signature moles with up to 28 ingredients, dry-aged beef, seafood, house-made tortillas, desserts, prawn salad, peppers and more.

The restaurant’s cocktail selection includes wines, tequilas, mezcal. margaritas, martinis, mojitos and more.

Elvira’s DC Ranch is located at 20825 N. Pima Road in Scottsdale across from The Living Room. The website is elvirasdcranch.com/
