Alexandria native wins singing competition to perform at Red Rocks
Reagan Golden’s biggest gig thus far is the St. Mary’s Parish Festival, but that will change on July 11 when she performs at Red Rocks. Golden started playing the guitar in fourth grade and sang by fifth grade. She said she wrote her first good song at the age of 12. Aside from doing local gigs around Campbell County, Golden didn’t have any large performances on the books until she entered a contest to perform with bluegrass folk band Trampled by Turtles at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and won.

Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Manslaughter In Todd County
A Hopkinsville woman was charged with manslaughter on Tuesday after an investigation into an Elkton man’s death last month. Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they investigated the death of a 21-year-old man who was found to have died on June 18th from a fentanyl overdose, which was confirmed following an autopsy.
$175 million, 27-story building in the works for downtown Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The next Louisville skyscraper is in the works, and it would be the biggest project downtown has seen in years. New York City-based real estate firm Zyyo confirmed plans to WHAS11 Tuesday for a $175 million, 27-story building in the heart of downtown Louisville. CEO Nick Campisano, who is no stranger to Louisville, said the design and feasibility analysis started more than two years ago for the project known as One Forty West.
