    Showers storms and more hot summer temps

    EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — A cool down is coming to our area temporarily after a string of days above 90 degrees.

    For Sunday you can expect another hot and humid day, with showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Some of the storms could be severe. High temperatures in the low 90’s. The evening will be partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially before midnight.

    Severe weather is in effect for Sunday evening before the somewhat cooler and drier air moves in to start the week. Another round of showers and storms move through on Wednesday.

    Monday could see a shower or storm early. Then partly sunny and less humid. Highs in the low 80’s.

    Tuesday will have sunny skies and Highs in the mid to upper 80’s.

    Wednesday will bring Partly sunny skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing with highs near 90 as the temperatures start creeping up.

    Thursday brings a chance of a shower or storm early, otherwise partly sunny. Highs in the low to mid 80’s as the weather gets a bit more comfortable.

    Friday and Saturday will have more sunny skies with temperatures staying in the mid to upper 80s.
