SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A good time for a good cause on Sunday in Lackawanna County.

Dozens came held at the Loft Event Space in Scranton Sunday afternoon for the inaugural NEPA Mimosa Fest.

The sold-out celebration featured live music, basket raffles, and of course lots of bubbly adult beverages.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales went to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.

A table was also set up for supply donations to the shelter.

Mimosa enthusiasts were thrilled with the numerous variations on the classic drink.

“Yeah, I’m definitely a mimosa lover. I have tried many of them. I really like it with like a little bit of raspberry in it, I think that’s super good,” said Chloe Pearce from Jessup.

The event also featured food trucks and other vendors.
