Man accused of inappropriate contact with 13-year-old

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after he was found allegedly having inappropriate contact with a 13-year-old.

On July 25 officers said they investigated a report of sexual assault against a minor.

Police say they interviewed the accused, Brant Everett, 25, who admitted to his role in having inappropriate contact with a 13-year-old.

Everett is charged with indecent assault and corruption of a minor. He is currently in the Lackawanna County Prison on $30,000 bail.
