Edison Township Announces Line Up for House Music Festival
EDISON, NJ - The township has announced the upcoming house music festival. The festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 24th, at Papaianni Park from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. As young kids, they were always trying to outdo each other on the baseball field, constantly battling to see who could hit the ball harder, throw it farther or run faster. That sense of healthy competition has stayed with twin brothers Brayden and Connor Sharkey as they’ve gotten older, but at the same time, there’s never been a question of their support for one another. It was there growing up and throughout their recently completed careers at Pitman — which was historic for one of them — and it will remain for the next chapter, however it unfolds.
Camden, NJ, man gets 65 years in prison for brutal murder in 2019
A Camden man will likely never see the outside of a prison ever again after being sentenced for a brutal killing in 2019. On April 17th, 45-year-old Corey James Malloy was convicted of first-degree murder in connection to the death of Nathaniel Perry on September 26th, 2019. The verdict was returned after a jury trial in Camden County Superior Court.

19-year-old drowns while swimming in N.J. lake
A 19-year-old man drowned Saturday in Lake Garrison in Gloucester County, according to the Elk Township police chief. The Gloucester County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the man accidentally drowned, according to Elk Township Police Chief Lance Hitzelberger. The man was taken from the lake to Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, where he was pronounced dead, the chief said in a news release.
Mercer County Parks Hosts “Trenton Talks Basketball Tournament”, Drawing Over 250 Residents
Mercer County Park hosted the first Trenton Talks Basketball Tournament, with a portion of all proceeds going to benefit Trenton’s A Better Way foundation. The tournament brought out over 250 residents from Trenton and surrounding communities. 12 basketball teams competed for top honors. There was also a double-dutch jump rope contest, judged by Skil-Lit Café Owners Robert Wilborn and Dionna Maldonado.

NJ man dies a hero after rescuing children from dangerous river
