DFW Area Hospitals Shine in Texas Top 15 Medical Centers, U.S. News & World Report Reveals
Several Dallas-Fort Worth area hospitals have been named amongst the elite in Texas, according to a recent report by U.S. News & World Report. Out of the 584 hospitals evaluated across the state, five DFW medical centers were ranked in the top 15 of the "Best Hospitals in Texas." The Houston area dominated the top 10, with Houston Methodist Hospital leading the pack as the number one hospital in Texas, according to the U.S. News.

Teenager reportedly shot in abdomen in Pasadena
PASADENA, Texas – A teenager has reportedly been shot in the Pasadena area Monday morning. Details were limited, however, the shooting took place on Pasadena Boulevard at Raspberry Lane. The 18-year-old was said to have been shot in the abdomen. They were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Houston ISD bus route changes for school choice students

Texas crash leaves one dead, another seriously injured
PECOS, Texas — A head-on collision on FM 1053 near mile marker 384 resulted in one death and one serious injury Saturday morning. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the crash involved a 2015 Ford F-150 and a 2024 GMC Sierra. Donnavin Brown, a 21-year-old from Odessa, Texas, was driving the Ford F-150 southbound when his vehicle veered into the northbound lane. Nicholas Calloway, a 25-year-old from Houston, Texas, was driving the GMC Sierra and attempted to avoid the collision by moving into the southbound lane. However, Brown's vehicle returned to the southbound lane, striking Calloway's vehicle head-on. Calloway was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Braden. Brown sustained serious injuries and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital.

Sheppard averaged 20 points, 5.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.3 blocked shots on 50% shooting from the field in four games in Las Vegas, Nevada.
