Texas crash leaves one dead, another seriously injured
PECOS, Texas — A head-on collision on FM 1053 near mile marker 384 resulted in one death and one serious injury Saturday morning. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the crash involved a 2015 Ford F-150 and a 2024 GMC Sierra. Donnavin Brown, a 21-year-old from Odessa, Texas, was driving the Ford F-150 southbound when his vehicle veered into the northbound lane. Nicholas Calloway, a 25-year-old from Houston, Texas, was driving the GMC Sierra and attempted to avoid the collision by moving into the southbound lane. However, Brown's vehicle returned to the southbound lane, striking Calloway's vehicle head-on. Calloway was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Braden. Brown sustained serious injuries and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital.

Wanted suspects apprehended in Harris County
HOUSTON, Texas — Two male suspects were taken into custody after deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the 2900 block of FM 2920. Deputies located a vehicle matching the description and arrested both suspects for various warrants, according to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
