For the last couple of years, downtown Augusta has been home to beautiful sculptures of sturgeon all along Water Street. If you're not familiar with the sturgeon of the Kennebec, they are prehistoric fish that make their way up from the ocean each year and do fabulous belly flops above the water in hopes of attracting a mate.
