The Harris County Sheriff's Office is urgently seeking assistance from the public to locate two young girls, Marley Adams, 12, and Emma Andrade, 13, who vanished in Crosby, Texas, on Friday. According to KHOU, the girls were last noted on Avenue D around 4 p.m. A description released details Marley as approximately 5-feet-4-inches tall, weighing around 115 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair; Emma stands about 5-feets-2-inches tall, weighs around 120 pounds, and is identified by brown eyes, and brown hair with blonde highlights. Both girls were seen last wearing blue jeans.
Cypress-area man sentenced to 40 years for killing friend
A Cypress-area man, who killed a high school friend in a late-night shooting, was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Friday. James Michael Sotelo, 21, received the sentence from a judge for the murder of Corey Thompson, a high school friend who was staying at the Sotelo family home on March 20, 2021. At the time of the shooting, Sotelo was an 18-year-old high school dropout and the victim was 17 years old.
