Culture, heritage on display at AFRAM Aug. 10 in Seaford

SEAFORD – The Eastern Shore AFRAM, a festival showcasing African American heritage, culture and diversity, continues its long run in Seaford Saturday, Aug. 10.

The Ross Mansion grounds on Ross Station Road is the venue for the event, which includes a healthy living walk, car show, pageant, gospel hour, local talent, and opening and closing ceremonies.

The walk kicks off the event at 8 a.m., with the car show and opening ceremonies set for 10 a.m. Closing ceremonies begin at 6 p.m.

Events include the Miss AFRAM Pageant at 10:30 a.m., Gospel Hour at noon, African Dancers at 1:30 p.m., Local Talent Hour at 3 p.m. and the Motown Show at 4:30 p.m.
