A bleacher-less North Adams High School gymnasium was the site last week of the annual North Adams Lady Devils Youth Basketball Camp. It may have been a blessing that the bleachers were out and being replaced as Lady Devils head coach Rob Davis and his staff welcomed more than 60 young campers for three mornings of learning and fun.
One of the hallmarks of Coach Davis’ program is the constant encouragement of the athletes to give back to their community in some way. This year the campers brought along with them donations of popsicles and cash that were given to the Church 180 Chill Mobile.
This year’s Lady Devils camp included girls and boys from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Coach Davis was assisted at the camp by his wife Jo and his assistant coaches Taylor Jodrey, Laynee Davis, Avery Harper and Brady Johnson. Also on hand to assist were current high school Lady Devils Tatum Grooms, Katelynn Boerger, McKenna Shelton, Karlie Kennedy, Aly McCann, Ava Pistole, Elizabeth Raines, Emma Pistole, Haley Arthur, Jacee Davis, Jaida Harrison, Lily Parker, Bella Gray and Ava Pemberton.
