    Enjoy Theatre in the Park in SeaTac on Friday night, July 19 with ‘Two Gentlemen of Verona’

    Our area’s summer 2024 Theatre in the Park series will kick off with “Two Gentlemen of Verona” at Riverton Heights Park in SeaTac on Friday night, July 19, 2024, starting at 7 p.m.

    Come for a laugh, and enjoy live performances from the Seattle Shakespeare Company and Burien Actors Theatre on two consecutive Friday nights – July 19 and July 26, 2024.

    “Admission” is free! But bring a chair or blanket to sit on!

    Support our local eateries. Dine out before or after, or bring takeout with you!

    Two Gentlemen of Verona” was written by William Shakespeare, and this performance is Directed by Kelly Kitchens.

    Synopsis:

    As stated by Seattle Shakespeare Company, “Put into an elegant court far from home, what do best friends do? Fight over the same girl, of course! Status, friendship, and true hearts collide in this comedy of impulsive love. There is no smooth course to growing up, but with disguises, songs, and a bit with a dog, this story will chart a path straight to your heart.”

    BAT Theatre’s performance of ‘Fallen Angels’ will be Friday night, July 26, 2024 at 7 p.m.

    Fallen Angels a family-friendly comedy by the English playwright Noël Coward, adapted by Rachel Rene.

    Synopsis:

    “Fallen Angels, by Noel Coward, is a delightful romp through the lives of two best friends who find themselves in a bit of a pickle. Julia and Jane are two happily but complacently married women. When the charismatic Frenchman they had separate flings with before marriage suddenly announces a visit, they panic. As they try to keep their passionate past a secret from their husbands, chaos and hilarity ensue. With Coward’s signature wit and charm, Fallen Angels is a wild ride of champagne-fueled antics, love, and laughter.”

    The show lasts about 90 minutes and is fit for the whole family.
