Drink Up Week is here and we have a feeling it’ll be the toast of the town.

Today through Friday, July 26, we’re showcasing content about the entrepreneurs, mixologists, venues, and beverages that make Seattle go ‘round.

This got us thinking about the greatest drinks we’ve ever had in the Emerald City, the ones we haven’t stopped thinking about long after that first sip.

Alina’s choice is easy. As someone who’s already a big fan of daiquiris (rum, sugar, and lime — what’s not to love?) , she still can’t get over the ones the staff at Roquette whip up for her. The aged Jamaican rum she requests always adds an extra flair of caramel-y flavors that transport her immediately to the beach. Plus, they’re extra icy cold here.

Madeline’s go-to drink that never disappoints is the lychee margarita from Cashew Thai . Sweet, light, and refreshing, this marg also comes topped with a juicy piece of lychee —
10/10 recommend leaving that bad boy in there to soak until you’re done with the drink . Then you have a boozy, tequila-marinated bite of fruit to cap off the experience.

Thirsty? Us too. Now that we’ve dished on our favorite local drinks it’s your turn to spill the tea. Tell us , what’s the most memorable drink you’ve ever tried in our city and why? We may share your answers in an upcoming newsletter. Keep an eye out the rest of the week as we continue to celebrate our city’s buzzing beverage community — cheers .
