Editor's Note: We're beginning a periodic feature on the under-publicized people who enhance the game-day experience for Puget Sound hockey fans.
Chico State University recently published a lovely and well-deserved profile of alum Ben Guerrero, VP of communication for the Seattle Kraken. You can check it out here .
The majority of our "Game Day Experience" stories will be fun but straightforward. Not this one. Although Ben deserves better - he's been tremendously helpful and gracious supporting my efforts on this site - he's not going to get it here.

What follows are screengrabs from a 45-second Instagram video accompanying the profile, a Ben Guerrero "Day in the Life."
What better way to get Chico State students excited about a career in PR than lingering over the office copy machine. Well, we've answered the question, "Who's hogging the bobbleheads?" Although Ben has a strong wardrobe game, doesn't he realize the NHL has done away with ties? Three seasons working for the Kraken, and Ben apparently still doesn't know how to get to Climate Pledge Arena. Ben telling ROOT Sports' Piper Shaw, "The game's been cancelled. You can go on home." Thankfully, Piper didn't fall for the practical joke. Oh Ben, you scamp! As the Arena scoreboard shows, this video was shot during a 6-2 loss to Buffalo, one of the Kraken's poorest performances. Not shown: Ben, wiping tears off his game notes. After the game, Ben (far right), doing the part of his job for which, no matter how much he's paid, it isn't enough: dealing with the media.
