The Seattle Seahawks have announced a handful of roster moves on the eve of their first training camp practice of 2024. In addition to hosting free agent center Connor Williams for a visit, yesterday it was reported that the team worked out four free agents , and one of them will be joining the roster.

That would be former NDSU offensive lineman Jalen Sundell, who played 15 games at left tackle last season but has three years of experience as a center. The Seahawks also signed former UFL wide receiver Marcus Simms, who should also be in the mix as a kickoff returner.

Additionally, the team announced that three more players have passed their phsyicals so they will be able to participate in practice tomorrow. That includes special teams contributor and backup cornerback Lance Boykin as well as starting linebackers Jerome Baker and Tyrel Dodson.

That last bit of news should come as a huge relief to Seattle fans. Otherwise, the team would have little choice but to sign another off-ball linebacker or two until Baker and Dodson were ready to return. As it stands, more edge depth may be their only remaining roster need before the season begins.

Practice begins at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time - this first session will be reserved only for season ticket holders and their guests.
