According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN , the Seattle Seahawks and safety Julian Love have agreed to terms of a contract extension, tacking on three more years to his current deal and worth up to a total of $36 million.

Love played well the first four years of his career with the Giants, but he's coming off a breakout season in Seattle, having posted a career-high four interceptions and 10 pass breakups. For his efforts he was named to his first Pro Bowl team.

In the absence of Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams, Love is now at the top of the team's depth chart at safety. He will be starting opposite free agent pickup Rayshawn Jenkins this coming season.

We don't have all the details of Love's new deal yet, but according to Over the Cap , the Seahawks could save up to $3.1 million in cap space this year on an extension for him.
