The blast is believed to be caused by a tank, according to Frank Torres, with Willacy County Emergency Management.

The Willacy County Sheriff’s Office reported the fire is at the Willacy County CO-OP, located at FM 506 and Alamo Rd.

The Willacy County Sheriff told ValleyCentral the fire was caused by a propane tank explosion.

Authorities say no injures were reported at the gin and the fire is under control.

ValleyCentral has crews on the way.
