    This dinner in Sebastopol is all about cheesy goodness

    Join cheesemaker Sheana Davis of the Epicurean Connection for a maker dinner from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Americana restaurant in Sebastopol.

    Davis, who earlier this year went to Paris to become a certified fromagier and cheese judge, will demonstrate how she makes her award-winning artisan cheeses and butters that guests will then enjoy as part of their meal.

    The menu includes a grass-fed burger with mushrooms, caramelized onions and cheese, fries with cheese dip, a nonalcoholic beverage pairing, and a few more surprises as well.

    A mushroom melt will be offered as a vegetarian option.
