Sebring garage sale event set Aug. 1-3

Coordinator Susan Sanor says there likely will be 100 sales taking place during the 23 annual Sebring Village Wide Sales, set Aug. 1-3.

The garage sale event, sponsored by Friends of the Sebring Parks, formerly was managed by Sebring Area Chamber of Commerce. Friends of the Sebring Parks took the event over after the Sebring Business Association was dissolved in 2022.

"This is an annual tradition here in our community," Sanor said. "We will see many people from surrounding areas coming into our village as they search for treasures and bargains galore. Many shoppers are very familiar with this annual event and plan weeks in advance to attend."

Any resident of Sebring Village or a neighboring community can register their sale and be included on the list of garage sales by contacting Friends of the Sebring Parks through its Facebook page or by texting 330-259-5946 (no phone calls accepted).

The last day to register is June 26; no signups will be taken after 5 p.m. Friday.

"There are currently close to 80 sales registered, and we are confident there will be over 100 sales for shoppers to enjoy," Sanor said.

A printed list of sales will be available beginning July 30 at the Sebring Public Library, 196 W. Ohio Ave. The library is supplying the list free of charge to anyone wishing to stop. The list will also be available online at Friends of the Sebring Parks .
