The Missouri Department of Transportation will present a draft document detailing priority unfunded needs at several meetings around the state later this month, including one July 30th in Sedalia.

Each public meeting will highlight needs identified by MoDOT and regional planning partners, totaling $1.1 billion per year across the state. The list is prioritized into three tiers, with highest priority given to projects that could be completed within the next five years should additional funding becomes available.

The meeting in Sedalia will take place July 30th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sedalia Public Library at 311 W Third St and detail those projects within MoDOT’s Kansas City region, including Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, Ray and Saline counties. The list will also be available on MoDOT’s website after each presentation, with public comment accepted online until August 23rd.
