2.5 quake detected in southeast Missouri
A small earthquake shook a portion of southeast Missouri early Saturday morning. The quake registered a magnitude of 2.5 just after 2 a.m. According to the U.S. Geological Survey at the University of Memphis, it was centered about 3 miles northeast of Steele, Missouri, or about 22 miles northwest of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
