    Parts of Kansas blasted by high winds, heavy rain and hail…again

    Another large complex of thunderstorms rolled across the Sunflower State Saturday night, bringing high winds, heavy rain and some hail.

    The highest wind gust reported was from 9 miles northwest of Kalvesta, located in Finney County in southwest Kansas: 93 mph.

    In Sedgwick County, Viola reported a 67 mph gust while just after 2:30 a.m., a 66 mph gust was reported at Eisenhower National Airport.

    Large tree limbs were downed and power was out in Clearwater. At the height of the storm, around 10 thousand customers in Sedgwick County were without power. That number as of 9 a.m. stands at just over 2,000.

    Rain totals in the area included Jabara Airport at 1.27", Andover 1.04" and the aforementioned Eisenhower National Airport received 0.76".
