Driver jailed after high-speed chase starts in Kansas, ends in Missouri
MIAMI COUNTY, Kansas —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a high speed chase across portions of Kansas and Misouri. On August 27, Sheriff Deputies were notified of a pursuit that was initiated by the Miami County Kans Sheriff’s Office that was entering Bates County, Missouri, according to a media release.
A bit cooler Labor Day
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Peyton Sanders says that nice weather is expected for Labor Day with slightly cooler temperatures. It will be a mild start to the day on Labor Day with morning low temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Afternoon highs will reach the low to mid 80s, which will be about 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Sunday.
