Friends of MCAS and Jordan’s Way team up to raise nearly $10,000 for shelter animals
KINGMAN — Dogs were treated, participants were pied, and nearly $10,000 was raised for local shelter animals on Monday when Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter teamed up with Jordan’s Way to host a three-hour Facebook Live Fundraiser. Shelter staff, volunteers, and representatives from Petco, PetSmart, and Feral Cat Warriors all joined in on the fun – and so did the dogs.

Prescott Preservation Commission Reviews Revised Plans for Hotel Development on Site of Old City Hall
On Friday, July 12, the City of Prescott Preservation Commission received a presentation from Shane Shumway, with Territory Holdings, LLC, responding to the Commission’s direction at their meeting on June 14. The project will come back to the Commission at a later date, possibly as early as September 13, where the Commission would vote to decide whether to approve the project and recommend it to City Council.
