Springfield man killed in three-vehicle crash in Seekonk

SEEKONK, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from Springfield was killed in a crash in southeastern Massachusetts involving an SUV, a box truck, and a tractor-trailer.

According to the Massachusetts State Police, the crash happened on Interstate 195 in Seekonk near the Rhode Island state line at 1:20 p.m. The driver of the 2022 Toyota Highlander was a 36-year-old man from Springfield. The crash also involved a 2022 Ford F650, driven by a 45-year-old man from North Easton, and a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by a 31-year-old man from Hallandale, Flordia.

The driver of the box truck suffered minor injuries, while the tractor-trailer driver was unhurt. The cause of the crash is still being investigated, and no names have been released at this time.
