Street near KU football stadium to close for construction
As work on the KU football stadium continues, a street adjacent to the stadium will soon close to most traffic through mid-January 2025. Contractors will close Fambrough Drive, or West 11th Street, from Missouri Street to Mississippi Street beginning Monday, Aug. 26. It’s a stretch of about a quarter-mile. The closure is for work associated with the stadium project.

Vendors are in the heart of the farmers market season, and are happy to serve customers.
