According to the City of Salina, this will be an important component in determining and designing Saline County and City of Salina space utilization needs in the future. Attempt to escape burning Shawnee home leads to pedestrian-vehicle collision
SHAWNEE, Kan. (KCTV) - An attempt to escape a burning Shawnee home sent one woman to a nearby hospital after she was hit by a car. The Shawnee, Kansas, Fire Department says that just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, emergency crews were called to the 7700 block of Nieman Rd., near Advance Auto Parts, with reports of a house fire. Crews from Shawnee, the Lenexa Fire Department, the Overland Park Fire Department and Jonson County MED-ACT all responded.
