There has been a sharp drop in complaints regarding housing in Washington State; unfortunately, the majority of complaints are from disabled who are being discriminated against. Nationwide, Washington State still has a high ratio of complaints regarding housing.

According to a new report from the National Fair Housing Alliance, the national record for complaints has been broken for the third year in a row. With 347 complaints total regarding housing discrimination, most were against those who have a disability. That's down 56 percent from the 787 total last year.

According to federal law, the Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination against anyone based on race, color, religion, family status, national origin, sex, disability, or family status. Have you or someone you know been discriminated against?
