A former Selma resident was named vice president and community banker at Marion Community Bank.

Steve Frazer, formerly of the Frazer Group and the brother of Selma Quarterback Club captain Bob Frazer, said he’s looking forward to his new role.

“I am thrilled to join the Marion Community Bank team,” Frazer said. “Their dedication to providing unmatched service and innovative financial solutions is inspiring. I look forward to contributing to the bank’s mission of connecting customers and communities to greater financial opportunities.”

Frazer was praised for outstanding community service in the Montgomery area. He is a chamber ambassador for the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and president of the board of directors for the Family Support Center in Prattville.

“We are excited to welcome Steve to our team,” said Michael Jenkins, Marion Community Bank regional president in Montgomery. “His extensive experience and deep roots in the community will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand. Steve embodies our values of integrity, trust, and leadership, and we are confident that he will play a key role in achieving our vision.”
