FDA study finds over a third of tattoo inks contaminated with bacteria
SAN ANTONIO - A new study by the FDA shows some ink used for tattoos and permanent makeup could have potentially dangerous bacteria even when it's marked as sterile. According to the study, out of 75 samples of sealed ink, more than a third had some level of bacterial contamination.
