New School Year begins August 1, Orientation set for July 31
Coweta County Schools will begin the 2024-25 school year on Thursday, August 1. The school system welcomed about 180 new teachers and staff during New Teacher’s Orientation on Wednesday, July 24. Teachers report back to their schools for pre-planning on Friday, July 26. And – in addition to other back-to school events across the county – Newnan High School will hold a dedication and open house of their newly-rebuilt facility on Sunday, January 28.
