Friend remembers woman killed in Denver house fire
DENVER — Friends of a woman who died in a house fire a week ago have identified her as Jessica McMillan, a well-known artist in the Denver community. The fire happened July 7 near the intersection of 6th Avenue and Utica Street, a few blocks east of Sheridan Boulevard. When Denver Fire Department crews arrived on scene just before 2:30 a.m., they brought McMillan out from the house. She was pronounced dead.

Four Earn Academic All-America Honors
