Lawyer in Clarksville censured for practicing law after license was suspended
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A local attorney has been publicly censured by the Tennessee Supreme Court for practicing law after her license was suspended. On Jan. 21, 2020, Colleen Ann Hyder’s license to practice law was suspended after failing to pay her 2019 professional privilege tax. On July 19, the court released a statement publicly censuring her for knowingly practicing law after her license had been suspended, according to a news release.

Mobile driver service center units opened Monday in Lebanon while the city's regular driver services center is closed for a remodel. The CDC reported over 107 thousand drug overdose deaths in 2023 alone. Drug Take Back Day would allow the public to dispose of these medications with no questions asked at one of the blue MedSafe boxes in the following areas.
2 women face charges after $51K in meth seized at Chattanooga home
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Two women now face charges in Hamilton County after authorities say they found almost a pound and a half of methamphetamine at a Chattanooga home. The bust happened with aid from a Chattanooga Police SWAT team as deputies executed a search warrant at the home on the 3600 block of 3rd Avenue Monday, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
