A Hugoton woman is dead, and two others, one an Elkhart man and one a Wichita teen, were injured in two separate accidents since Thursday in Seward County. Around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Chevy Silverado southbound on Road T and a 2017 Nissan Rogue westbound on U.S. Highway 160.

One dead in Friday evening crash in Seward County
SEWARD COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A Hugoton woman is dead after a crash in rural Seward County Friday evening. The Kansas Highway Patrol says around 6:30 p.m., a Chevrolet Silverado was southbound on Road T when the vehicle failed to yield and struck a Nissan Rogue, driven by 42-year-old Jamee Perez, which was traveling westbound on US-160. The impact caused both vehicles to roll an unknown number of times before coming to a rest in a ditch.
