Durbin requests federal help for students hurt by recent college closings
Illinois U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin is asking the federal government to help students left in the lurch by the abrupt closings of two Chicago-area colleges this month. SEWARD, Ill. (WIFR) - The streets of Seward are eerie as debris from this week’s storms litter roads and yards. On Thursday, the north side of the village got power back, but the south side is still without. On top of no power, the residents don’t have running water. “Everyone is just getting a little worn out of this.
