My grandparents would always drive our RV through here on the way to the river and share the memories they had back when it was still booming and when the motel was still open. I make sure to take my friends and family through here whenever we are on our way to the river and get a soda and enjoy the exclusiveness of it. It will always be a cherished place for me

I graduated high school (San Bernardino high school) in 1975. i had auto shop in 10th 11th and 12th grade and Buster Burris was the shop teacher. one day he told me that when he retires he's going to buy a small town out in the desert. and that the name of that town was Amboy. and boy oh boy he really did buy that town. I'm sure this is a lot more interesting to me than it is to anyone else.
