Hot weather returns for work week
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - High pressure continues to give us sunny weather though stickier conditions will return for the start of the work week. Overnight temperatures will fall into the mid 60s once again. Some patchy fog could form once again so keep that in mind when heading out the door in the morning. Sunny skies and a southerly flow will cause temperatures to climb to the low to mid 90s with real feels in the mid to upper 90s. Tuesday will be a PinPoint Yellow alert day as temperatures will once again be in the mid 90s with feels like values around 100. Make sure you take it easy, try to limit outdoor activity, and drink plenty of water due to the hot weather.
Judge dismisses federal lawsuit over West Virginia prison and jail conditions

(AP) — A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit that sought to force West Virginia to spend $330 million to improve prison and jail conditions statewide and fill worker vacancies.U.S. District Judge Irene Berger ruled Tuesday in Beckley in favor of motions by Gov.
