Laurens County drug trafficker sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison
A Laurens County man has been sentenced to federal prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking charges. Ricky Rich, 42, of East Dublin, Ga., was sentenced to 228 months in prison after pleading guilty to Distribution of Fentanyl, said Jill E. Steinberg, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia. U.S. District Court Judge Dudley H. Bowen also ordered Rich to pay a $2,500 fine and to serve three years of supervised release upon completion of his prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.
