Shamokin, Pa. — Celebrate and inspire the next generation with a youth programming event in Shamokin this week.

The event, to be held at Illumination Station from 6-8 p.m., will showcase exciting opportunities for youth in the Shamokin area, including scholarship offerings and the launch of the Community Giving Foundation’s Youth in Philanthropy program at Shamokin High School.

Entertainment will include live music from Down N' Out, and light refreshments will be provided by Chicuterie.

This initiative to empower local youth was designed through the partnership of several dedicated organizations, including Artisan Alley Fine Art Gallery, For the Cause Teen Centers, Community Giving Foundation, and the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way. Together, the group aims to inspire and engage local teens, fostering a sense of community and leadership.

All community members are invited to attend. Registration is not required. For more information, contact Alyssa Meyers-Sanonu, Foundation Director of Philanthropy, at 570-854-3504 or ameyers-sanonu@csgiving.org .
