    Four dead in 'murder-suicide' as bodies found laying on driveway outside Georgia home

    A man killed three people in Georgia before fatally shooting himself in the early hours of Saturday morning , according to cops.

    According to sheriff's officials in Sharpsburg, a town about 40 miles from Atlanta, deputies found two bodies in the driveway when they arrived at a home in Sharpsburg. It came after they received numerous 911 calls shortly after 1 am on Saturday, the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.

    It was also revealed that another body was found in the doorway of the home. When deputies arrived at the scene, a man ran into the home and a gunshot was heard. Officials also said a SWAT team then arrived and secured the home - before finding the body of the man.

    Sheriff’s officials said they’re investigating the case as a “murder-suicide.” Officials have not released the names of the victims or the suspected shooter pending notification of family members. Additional details were not immediately available.

    Most of the neighbors Atlanta News First spoke with said the community is typically quiet. Many of them were shocked something like this happened in their backyards.

    Audrey Jackson, a woman who lives in the neighborhood, said: "It’s really close to home, you know. It’s crazy to think that something like that could happen that close and not know. And to think that four people back to back to back, right by your house."

    Brandi Wright, who lives very close to the home where the deaths occurred, said she heard something unusual around 12:30 a.m. She said: "It just had started raining, and my mom had said, ‘Did you hear that? It sounds like thunder. And I told her, I was like, ‘I don’t think that was thunder.’ It sounded just like a gunshot because it was a lot louder than thunder."

    As Wright spoke about the murders, she was visibly shaken. She said when she woke up in the morning, a neighbor called to tell her what had happened. She added: "Nothing’s ever happened like this in this area.

    "I live right around the corner, and it’s just crazy how it’s so close to home. You can’t even stay safe in your own home anymore. It’s insane. I’m really nervous about it ... I’ve been living here all my life, and it’s just crazy to know about this."

    It comes as promising basketball star Carl Hens Beliard was shot dead while driving car, with police arresting a teen suspect. Beliard, 18, was found with gunshot wounds in a car that had mounted the sidewalk in Salem, Massachusetts . A bullet hole could be seen in a window. He was rushed to Salem Hospital where he sadly died. Missael Pena Canela, 18, of Salem was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with murder.
