Suspect arrested for starting fire at Chico Pallet Shelter, police say
CHICO, Calif. - We are learning new details about the fire at the Pallet Shelter site in Chico. The Chico Police Department told Action News Now that they arrested Zackary Fitch just three days ago for the fire that destroyed two pallet shelters at the site back on Aug. 5. Chico Police Lieutenant Joel Schmid said Fitch had a warrant out for his arrest after the fire happened because they suspected he was responsible, but officers were unable to locate him.
