I've met several of them at community events and they work tirelessly to help the significantly present Oaxacan Indigenous community in the Fresno-Madera counties' region. It is a very specific -- and important -- community to this specific region of the Valley that is very often overlooked, more so because multiple languages are spoken among them and some don't speak Spanish or English, yet work in the fields to feed us all".
