74-Year-Old Suffers Serious Injuries in Monday Crash Near Plymouth
A helicopter ambulance had to be called for transport after a man was struck while attempting a J-turn on Highway 23. The Sheboygan County Sheriff reports that the 74-year-old Waldo man was driving on 23 at around 4 p.m. Monday when he attempted the turn at the intersection with Pleasant View Road at Plymouth, but pulled out into traffic. The man’s vehicle was struck on the passenger side by another vehicle driven by a woman who was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The Man was airlifted to ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah. There’s no word on the conditions of either driver this morning.
Victim in Sunday’s Two-Vehicle Fatal Crash Identified
One person lost their life and another was hospitalized when the vehicle they were in was struck by another in a rural Sheboygan County accident on Sunday. The 911 call alerting the Sheriff’s Office came in at 1:10 Sunday afternoon, reporting the two-vehicle crash near Highway 67 and County Highway “S” about three miles southwest of Plymouth. Investigators say that a 61-year-old Saukville man and his 12-year-old passenger were eastbound on Highway 67 when a 53-year-old Plymouth man traveling the opposite direction attempted to turn south onto Highway “S” in front of the man’s SUV, causing the collision.

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead, and a child is injured after a crash in Sheboygan County. It happened on Sunday, June 30 around 1:10 p.m. According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, they were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident near County Road S and State Highway 67 in the Town of Plymouth. Preliminary investigation showed that a 61-year-old man from Saukville was driving a SUV east on State Highway 67, when a 53-year-old man from Plymouth was operating a pickup truck. The truck was traveling west on State Highway 67 and turned south, colliding with the SUV.
