    What to know about garbage collection in Sheboygan the week of July 4

    SHEBOYGAN – No garbage or recycling pickup will be done in the city July 4 because of the Independence Day holiday. As a result, the collection schedule will be adjusted as follows:

    • Monday-Wednesday (July 1-3) pickup will be as scheduled;
    • Thursday (July 4) pickup will be rescheduled for Friday, July 5; and
    • Friday (July 5) pickup will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 6.

    The Recycling Center at 2026 New Jersey Ave. will also be closed July 4. The center’s schedule for the week will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday; closed Thursday; open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
