    Body of surfer, a 52-year-old Wrightstown man, pulled from Lake Michigan in Sheboygan

    SHEBOYGAN – Cause of death of a 52-year-old man from Wrightstown is unknown after he was pulled from Lake Michigan near Blue Harbor Resort July 18.

    Sheboygan police officers and fire personnel arrived to the beach south of South Pier to the report of an unresponsive surfer.

    A passerby who called 911 performed CPR after noticing the individual in the lake. The surfer was still connected to the surfboard.

    Police don’t know the cause of death but said it didn't involve suspicious circumstances.
